Eye spy with my little eye, something beginning with ____

Hi everyone,

mmmMekitty and I have been playing eye spy over in the cafe, and i thought we should perhaps build a thread about it.  let us stave off the  loneliness with just sharing what we can see anonymously.

I'd like someone else to start please as it is not my turn... mmm already guessed that i spyed my fruitless yet loving "pear tree" that started with "P".

When you spied something beginning with 'F' was it Food or something else?

Here's a clue: you can see something or two beginning with 'E' when you look in a mirror, but I won't because I'm blind.

Now you also want something beginning with 'G' even before I guess the something beginning with 'F'? If you are looking in your mirror now, you might also see a 'GIRL'! Is thtt it?

i meant you pick something beginning with F, then the next letter. at least that's how i think it works. mine would be Fridge.

G would be a Glass cup.

Sorry Tayla, I think this is getting confused. Just wondering if you never played this game whenyou were little?

I'll try to explain:

Usually, 1 person decides in their mind what it is they see. (If we were playing in the same place, it would be something really there. But since we are not, we imagine what we like). It may begin with any letter at all.

Then whoever else is playing guesses, & the one with something in mind gives clues (very necessary here) & 'hotter' / 'colder' until someone guesses.

Then a new 'I spy' begins with something beginning with another letter of the alphabet, not necessarily the nest in line.

Since no-one has guessed my 'I spy' object beginning with 'E' then please, guess some more.

Ask questions if you like, about what this thing I have in mind might be.

yes i've played the game but it was years since i played it. my memory is bad at times.

Nice guess, but the something beginning with 'E' is a rather smaller than the Earth. So this guess is only a little warm...

How does the world look from your point of view?
