Croix, &a all
It was cold enough this morning, so, I'm in my big fuzzy/fluffy fluoro-rainbow hoodie pull-over, imagining I hav penguin feet below & a penguin beak poking out of the hoodie over my head, thinking: Fish for dinner, yes?

Oh, yeah, I think I'd like one of those, because my feet get cold, & now I dont seem to like blankets up over my shoulders, but still want them warm. This winter, my hands have been feeling the cold more than I recall ever feeling. I'm feeling my arthritis too, but maybe when the weather is milder that will be not so bad.
Of-course, I am envious - a fireplace would be so wonderful.
Definitely time for dinner.
"Here fishy-fishy..." (I think that was Ernie from Sesame Street).

"Here fishy-fishy...". Are you sure it was not Captain Ahab?

No, but I'm sure it wsn't Jonah... & if it was, he ought to protest "That was a mammal!", or not, because then he might have got a big fishy shark.

.... hehehhehehhehe ... I, LRC, has managed, with the aid of my trusty diving/space suit, to get right under Croix/s iceberg. I am now drilling holes, 36 at this stage, & later, another dozen or so above the sea level.
As I drill each hole, I insert a speaker, way up in there so the sounds broadcast will be mere centemetres beneath the floor of the main lounge room, & all the main rooms close by. Obviously, these rooms include, kitchen, dining, bed & bath rooms.
I have other speakers to insert into more drilled holes topside, into the walls & 'ceiling'. (Do icebergs have ceilings?) Sound will be channelled throughout the iceberg.
What do I have in mind to broadcast?
Shakuhachi this afternoon.... got to get the walrus feeling really relaxed, so Iwill begin the broadcast at around 4:20pm.
Then... later on, when the sun goes down, & the wind chills to negative degrees, & the iceberg begins to cool he may hear the amplified ice creaking, & wind whistling.
From 7 pm he'll hear the ice splintering, shattering shards, falling, tinkling like glass, from 9:30 pm the fissures cracking & at 10pm, thicker ice groaning & splitting, then blocks break away & splash into the water, near midnight, whereupon all the creatures of the sea & ice shriek & bellow marvellously into the night...
Then I'll let the ice fill in all the holes, leaving the speakers tucked away, ready for future broadcasts.
Hmmm, where are the sponges? I've got some pesky penguins who need a wash.

Brilliant MK! The speakers encased in the iceberg! Croix will experience mesmerising surround sound. I have gathered together the largest known congregation of stingrays to perform a synchronised swimming extravaganza around the iceberg. It will be graceful, haunting and mind expanding, raising Croix to new levels of consciousness should he roll out of the igloo with flippers over ears trying to escape the shakuhachi. He will be so transfixed by the stingrays that he will only be able to gape in awe as he is serenaded by shakuhachi. The stingrays will glow in fluorescent greens and blues from bioluminescent sea creatures trailing along with them. He will be a walrus of wonder, stunned by the audiovisual event.
I believe the inebriated kiwis are planning to add a special chant to the shakuhachi consisting of incoherent mumbling. Oh what a mind numbing, other worldly experience this will be for Croix. It will be most unique.
Meanwhile, I am at the marine supplies store negotiating prices on some jet skis to be ridden in creative formation by polar bears the following day. The hum of jet skis can be truly hypnotic too - after a while. I wonder what those pesky penguins are up to?

It's a veritable siren's call - Croix won't stand a chance when hearing inebriated kiwis serenade him!
The pesky penguins are making sponge animals, (like making balloon animals, but with sponges) & not getting clean at all, although they have made a lot of sudsy bubbles, which are creeping over all the floorspace ...
The motors in the jet skis will have the iceberg genuinely quaking! Croix won't know if the tide is going in or out, or has the moon learned to foxtrot? If the latter is the case, we will need the Bigger Brassiest Brass Band with Taiko drummers & the Exquisite Faboulous Famous Elephant to sing the trumpet solo ....

Oh what fun, sponge animals! I should have guessed the penguins would get distracted during their sponge bath. It must be very sudsy indeed. Have they tried making a sponge walrus? They could find a couple of pieces of driftwood for tusks and shells for eyes and present it to Croix as a miniature version of himself. It could take pride of place in the igloo. So every time Croix looks up he sees a hilarious sponge version of himself. I’m sure he would love that.
And I just love the earth shattering, iceberg shuddering power of Taiko drums. Boom boom! And even more spiffing to have the Exquisite Fabulous Famous Elephant trumpeting away. I’m doing zoomies round the iceberg now in excited anticipation.

I'm zoomies all over the place, too, looking for anything I can use for whiskers - but not my own! They take forever to grow back, you know.
Just imagining the sponge animals as stylish home for tiny sea creatures, so sophisticated, every aspiring tiny crustatian will want one. We'll set up an office right here, adjacent to Croix's iceberg. I don't think he'll mind the traffic for all the prestige he'll gain from his association with us, will he?
It amazes me how so much does not clean even one pesky penguin ... Look, there they go, treading through the soap bubbles, discolouring them, & leaving footprints all over the floors.... I'll think we'll need a hose ... a warm water hose .....

Oh excellent idea MK! A real estate business for tiny sea creatures. What a venture! There must be many little aspiring sea beasties looking to upscale to a sponge apartment. Perhaps we could build sponge towers on Croix’s iceberg and sell the apartments? The sea creatures will be upwardly mobile both in style and literally. The iceberg could become a mini metropolis. We can begin that project after completing the shakuhachi serenade and other sound goodies we have in store for Croix.
My goodness, penguins are sliding everywhere!
