No doubt, Youtube will have Henry Mancini, his Baby Elephant Walk & other songs with his orchestra.
I agree, Baby elephant Walk is great fun, a bright & cheery song - fantastic for a wedding march, if you don't mind putting some wiggle& bounce into it.
Almost makes me want to get married!
I think the paparazzi may have distracted the train driver or some of the passengers who like their pictures taken ....

Dear All~
I'm sure if htere were paparazzi around they would make a beeline for the two of you - you are the main movers and shakers after all
Talk of that elephant and music reminds me of the Dance of the Thee Hours performed by hippos in Walt Disney's Fantasia (yes it too is on YouTube)

Ah, yes, I believe there’s some famous people and creatures of all kinds on the locomotive. Possibly even some Fantasia hippos! No wonder the paparazzi succeeded in getting them to stop. Anything for a glamorous photo opportunity! By the time it arrives the penguins may have bounced around so much they collapse in a heap, fast asleep. Though I expect once they awaken their plan for a pillow fight will resume.
I am heading off tomorrow on an 8 day journey during which I will be out of phone range and internet access much of the time. So I may drop in here and there, but could be absent for a bit. Hopefully I don’t miss the best old-time TV shows. I also hope I don’t miss EF-Fe recital/performance/extravaganza - I don’t know what to call it. But the infrasound rumbling may travel through the earth to where I am anyway.
May you have raucous fun on the iceberg!

Dear ER~
I'd like to wish you the very best of times while you away. It's great you have the chance to get way. I hope there are plenty of chances to sample fresh areas of nature and you take some photos capturing the essence of what you see to refresh your memory in future times.
I'm sure the iceberg extravagant will still be going on your return (particularly as I plan on running away -shhh)

Hi ER,
May you have a glorious holiday. & please, take some mmMarshmallows with you.
& take lotsa photos I wish I could see ... or write a daily note about what you experience out there in the natural wonders of this world.
I've been too busy today. Well, sometimes just waiting for someone to come & fix or, as it turned out, to replace the gas hot water system (which 4 units share), so I could get myself & some dishes clean without having to boil the jug several times to have hot water to use. Online shopping, too. A couple phone calls, an email, Getting my own meals. trying to put in some exercises I can do here, instead of going out as planned ...
& then I've been thinking about a few posts I've seen lately. I'm always asking myself what to say to this person?
Croix, then, I saw the post from Paul (Blonde guy) about Geoff. I'm sorry if you, Croix, haven't seen it yet. It's in Grief & Loss. I know you've known Geoff a lot longer than I have.
I was taken aback, & don't feel much like playing tonight.
It's already late; I'm tired. I have groceries arriving tomorrow. Then I have an appointment with a dietician. At least I won't be smelling of chlorine when I go there.
I keep forgetting what day it is today, then what day it is tomorrow. Then I remember I have to wait to talk to my PDr, not tomorrow, as usual, but Thursday, later in the afternoon, as well. & next week he's changed the day & time again - but tat's next week.
Hugzies to you, Croix, ER & everyone. People here mean more to me than I am usually aware of. Tonight, I am very grateful to everyone here, for being here.

Hi MK and Croix,
I’m so sorry to hear about Geoff. He was kind, caring and made much effort to support others, even when not well himself.
Thanks so much both for your good wishes. I’m in a little town tonight with phone/internet reception still available. It was a nice drive here through a mix of forest and rolling green hills dotted with sheep and cattle. I also saw the cutest lamb with a black face and there was an alpaca in the same paddock. I saw a stunning fox run across the road, an emu running along next to me at one point and a big male kangaroo who looked like he’d biff anyone who messed with him.
MK, I am so grateful too for the people on the BB forum. So much kindness and support. I hope you have had a good day with the activities you had on and that you can have a restful evening.
It’s quite nippy here. Brrrr. Feels like I’m still on the iceberg.
Take care all and big Hugzies 🤗

Croix...although its not O.W. I found a great quote recently..
George Bernard Shaw, playwright said to Winston Churchill " I'd like to invite you to the opening night of my new play and do bring a friend....if you have one"
Winston replied " Unfortunately I have another engagement on the opening night, but will try and attend on the second night.....if you have one!"

Dear Moon and all,
Those were some rahter cutting remarks, maybe Groucho Marx can do better:
"I’m not feeling very well – I need a doctor immediately. Ring the nearest golf course."
I think this thread is morphing into Worst Joke Wednesday 😕

Which reminds me:
George Bernard Shaw did tend to be acidic at times and was once approached by a seductive young actress who cooed him in his ear:- ‘Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we got married and had a child with my beauty and your brains?’
Shaw, who was hardly a handsome man replied: ‘My dear, that would be wonderful indeed, but what if our child had my beauty and your brains?’

I've just had a brilliant idea, thanks to ER in the 5-letter game: let's hold The Global Dinosaur Tipping Competition right here on your icebeg, Croix! The Quolls have been in training & are eager to see if the Quokkas can lift their game (from lions to dinosaurs & challenge them for the 'Bones' (not the Ashes - that's another sport).
We'll can call the promo series 'Thunder Lizards Downunder".
What a fine Springtime festival it shall be!

Gosh I hope we get the clams here, soon.... don't want them getting too whiffy.
