Being 3D there is an interior surface, too, ER, so I was including Rooks, Knights with their little horses & Prawns, er, Pawns ... no, they are Prawns claiming spaces on the inside, too. Some will be right over Croix's head, not just reading over his shoulder.

I was thinking of replacing the cushions with big jellies, which won't be melting in the igloo, unless they are too near the fireplace. Nice, soft, squishy jellies for Croix to recline on & again, if he has a fancy to taste, he can, no worries, unless he doesn't like any of the flavours I have created.

You know, it really is difficult to tell green lime cordial from some dish washing liquids... someone ought to do something about that!

The cola could be coffee,

The pretty pinkish-red could be strawberry or lobster.

The translucent white may not be coconut, but calamari

That darker green is either kale or spinnach, I can't remember ...

I think it's safe to trust the black to be licorice because I really don't think I'd've made black ink jellies ...

Oh, I don't know, there are so many pretty colours, & some not so pretty, to find jelly flavours without experimenting a bit.

Oh look, I've found a crown! It looks a little scruffy, dusty as if it's been in an attic for a few decades, but I bet it would look good on our King Penguin's head, or is it a bit too big around?

Hmmm, who's head shall I crown?

Well, if in the next week we don't find a head to put it on, I guess we could melt it down & make another jelly mould out of it.

Hehehe, I love your plans MK. The prawns will be perfect and easily sourced from the ocean, as will the jellies. I think the prawns will have no difficulty clinging onto the igloo ceiling right above Croix’s head. Croix will have such an eclectic mix of flavours all around him. It’s like a 3D art installation immersive sensory experience, one he can even eat if he wants to.

If the crown is rather big I wonder if it would be a walrus-sized crown? Croix could dress as king of his iceberg! I’m picturing Croix now in his multi-coloured igloo wearing it. That could be rather comical if he has a grumpy walrus expression, but hopefully he will be thrilled about the marvellous spectacle that will await him on the iceberg!

How fast can you knit a red carpet, & refurbish Croix's big old easy chair to look like a throne?

I’ve set a team of stingrays onto the knitting. An army of crabs is working on the chair refurbishing sections with their pincers. They are attaching sections of shiny, golden material. Croix himself will be quite a spectacle upon the throne within his newly designed, colourful igloo and surrounded by a myriad of creatures. I imagine Sumo by his side will add to the regality.

Surely Sumo shall have a large velvet covered cushion with snack pouch & scratch pad built in?

I was thinking, what we're doing may sound extravagant, but not nearly as costly as what's going on overseas.

We will have little to concern ourselves security-wise that we can affort to have our drones trailing Frosted Snoflakes. Everyone is welcome to tilt their heads back, open their mouths & stick out their tongues with reason for fearing anyone assuming the sticking out tongues are intended as a rude gesture.

The stingrays have completed your marvellous idea of a large velvet covered cushion with snack pouch and scratch pad for Sumo. I have found a supply of gold tinsel that I thought could be used to decorate Croix’s tusks. The penguins have been taking evening classes in etiquette and hospitality so they can wait upon the royal walrus and his esteemed feline. The kiwis have been taking the same classes though it is doubtful they will be able to perform their duties as effectively. Etiquette is not their strong point.

Oh what an elaborate scenario awaits Croix upon his return!

What a surprise, I din't think the Pesky Penguins were interested in manners - & certainly, I'd thought the kiwis were too laid back to even wonder at the meaning of words like "politeness", "manners", "protocol", "etiquette'" ... even "please" & "thank you".

Indeed, I have surprise myself knowing those words, even though only in theory.

I'd better get onto learning the Flugelhorn & writing the fanfare for Croix's grand homecoming entry salute.

There's no time to lose!

Hmm, we still have to plan a menu! All I have so far is mmMarshmallow filled mmMacAroons.

Do you think the trone is big enough for Mrs C to share?

Hi MK, yes, well the penguins say they are learning these things. We shall see what unfolds and whether they can in fact control their peskiness. I’m wondering if it is actually a ploy by the penguins and kiwis to gain entry into Croix’s igloo.

For a menu I thought I would prepare some krill and sea cucumber sandwiches. I thought some clam chowder would go down a treat with some sea worms stirred in. And of course there will be prawns and jellies about if Croix wishes to start eating his igloo extravaganza.

Absolutely there will be room for Mrs C. The stingrays can sew together a regal sash that will match the glistening tinsel on Croix’s tusks. They will be quite the couple with dashing Sumo at their side too.

Flipper slippers, what an adorable idea! The stingrays are already knitting them!
