Oh fabulous mmMeKitty, it is a delightful song! I just listened to the Bing Crosby version. I was just imagining a penguin orchestra playing the lush orchestral accompaniment. I wonder if the penguins on the iceberg are classically trained? The ‘Wake Up the Warus Concert’ is shaping up to be something special!

Since I had my support worker help me with putting tiny bumps on a selected bunch of keys on my keyboard, & my typing has improve as a consequence of that, I think I'll have a go at keyboards again!

Hi MK, I have my electric guitar ready to go with my 100 watt amplifier. I look forward to jamming with you on keyboards. I can see penguins with trumpets, trombones, saxophones, etc. How exciting! I wonder if the inebriated kiwis will be able to play anything? Perhaps honkytonk piano, which has a swing to it, and as the kiwis are a bit wonky anyway, no one will notice. They’ll just think they’re jazzing things up. Let’s get this iceberg swinging!

I had just been imagining you on the tuba Croix. It somehow seems to suit a walrus. Or maybe the xylophone? I was thinking you could use your tusks to play it. It would make a resonant ting!

I knew you'd be electrified; I just thought your own production of electricity would have been enough to shake the igloo, but by all means, add a few amps & subwoofers!

We have a couple inebriated kiwis on lagerphones & mason jugs, Kakapos on kazoos. I tried to get some koalas to play the gum leaves, but they kept eating their instruments.

I miss my favourite harmonica player, so I hope one of our new members will take up this challenge.

I have visions of Croix himself making an appearance playing the washboard, with his tusks.

& Sumo plays the clothes lines. What genre he plays is entirely his choice.

Maybe it'll be Alley Cat Blues, a hard, yes, I'll be honest, it's an aggressive, low-down street sound.

We do try to tone it down after midnight, which is when I get my spot in the limelight, with my Mournful Midnight Wailsong for a cappella voice/s. The Pesky Penguin Singers are my back-up vocals.

Then it's relaxed & smooth at least until dawn.

Have a good sleep everyone, 'cause once the Wake Up the Walrus big band gets started, ther's very little can stop us! (Even if ER's self-generated charge shorts out the P A system).
