My Kind thoughts everybody

Paul

Hi Paul and All,

Hope you enjoy the seafood! Paul is there not someone you can spend part of Christmas with? I know it is okay to be alone as well, just wondering!

I'm going to help out at the Church Christmas Lunch. We help serve the people who come for lunch than sit with them and eat as well, so it is more like a party or social event.

As a child I never really enjoyed the whole seafood thing unless it was fish cooked well. Mum and Dad would be given crayfish for Christmas most years, Mum would cook a chicken as well so I had something to eat!

My taste buds still don't understand prawns or crayfish. Give me a well cooked steak any day!

Cheers from Dools

Today at the Op Shop I bought myself a $2.00 white Christmas tree.

A few years ago we were blessed enough to be in Europe for Christmas and saw plenty of trees covered in glistening white snow. This little tree will remind me of that time, plus it will help to add some cheer to a dark corner of the family room when I place it on top of the wood fire.

Hope you all find some treasure this festive season!

Cheers all from Dools

Hi all

This year, like every year, I will be making a pav in memory of my brother

Hi Jackson,

That sounds like a very special memory and something symbolic to do to remember your brother.

I like to light a candle for loved ones who can not be with us for Christmas for one reason or another. The glow of the candles are comforting to me and help provide a sense of peace and happiness.

Cheers from Dools

Hey Pall playing with words Pall (Paul & all) small things aye

Thought I'd dropped in before, looked for last post nah

Loven this thx Paul

Read some posts, nice one paper release as Dools said some good points bought up too, where & how for Xmas for lonely people & less self expectation is good

So I'd like to add incredibly yum choccy marshmellow Santas to the tree. Ummm bit embarrassing to say but I'm considering a guard dog that'll only let me at em. Soz guys & if yaz could see my face 😅😄 you'd know how genuinely bad I feel 😉

Awesome thread for magic people doin it hard

Care ☺

Hi DM and All,

Think I will bribe that guard dog of yours with Shmakos (or how ever you spell that word) and sneak one of those chocolate Santas off the tree.

You are right though about people doing it tough for Christmas (and all through the year for that matter).

Yesterday an older man dropped by the Op Shop just so he would have someone to talk to. I had a chat with him until he was ready to go then asked the ladies out the back what his story was.

It makes me wonder if that dear man has someone who will be thinking of him at Christmas or where he will spend the day on the 25th.

I am so very blessed and don't even realise it some days!

Cheers all from Dools
