Hey Everybody! Christmas is the time of year to enjoy & share with family & friends. Some people will spend this time alone & isolated too!

This is a safe place where people can post and say hello, chat or send wishes to others and have a 'Virtual Christmas/New Years'!

Whether you have plans for Christmas/New Years or having a quiet one you can kick back and just enjoy company of others. Its been a long year. Even if you have never posted on Beyond Blue before you are very welcome to come in and sit around our 'Virtual Christmas Tree' and chat 🙂

Just make sure you leave your snow gear/boots in the foyer. Please leave any reindeer or snow dogs outside if you can 😉 Happy Christmas xo

Snoopy's Christmas 🙂

Thankyou Kanga

Do you mean Charlie Brown's Snoopy?

It's a song put out by the band who sang "the bloody red baron" back in late 60's early 70ties of cause who ever did Charley Brown snoopy covered it in cartoon.

Hi Paul and fellow Xmas loving travellers! Great thread!

I may look tough in my profile pic, but I'm mushy in the middle with sprinkles on top..

My fave part of Xmas is dressing the tree. I play seasonal songs and tunes, making sure the house is spotless with a calm feel to it. After my evening meal I get the tree erected, then bring all my colourful goodies out in their boxes. I prefer to do this on my own these days.

When my son was young he'd help, then get bored and leave me to it. (silent yay!) It's a regimental exercise in precision and smiles..looking at it once it's finished with dimly glowing lights, is pure delight.

"Red and yellow and pink and blue, purple and orange and green; I can sing a rainbow, Santa rainbow, Santa rainbow too."

I don't deck the hall with bows or holly; it's that beautiful tree..perfectly positioned so passers by can gaze in at it with gut wrenching jealousy! Yay!!

My Xmas tree is a permanent feature in the home paddock. It started as a tiny Himalayan Cedar sapling in a pot, bought for my daughter when she was a tot herself.

It was eventually planted out after outgrowing a few containers. Now towering majestically over the surrounding bush, 10/12 meters perhaps... Since my daughter left home, I haven't felt the need to decorate a tree. I wouldn't be game to stick a star at the top of this one, for sure. Besides, tinsel and baubles don't mix well with wildlife !

I just feel privileged to have a live, ever-lasting Xmas tree I can admire every time I go out the back door. Its only decorations are invisible but very much present...happy memories.
