Eat Drink Man Woman (1994)
A comedy-drama directed by Ang Lee. I really enjoyed this film when I saw it at the outdoor cinema 30 years ago. I actually remember the audience cheering and clapping at the end. It was one of those films that seemed to create a good feeling for people.

Quirky, I just looked up some clips of Dick Van Dyke dancing at 98 and 99. Wow! I hope I’m that nimble and spritely if I live that long. He is a really good example of how healthy dancing is for the mind, body and spirit.
NeverEnding Story (1984).
A fantasy film that I found confusing and scary as a kid but I did really like the theme song.
