Hi there Matt
Am sorry to hear that things are still very bad for you. I hope this makes you feel slightly better, but you are not on your own with this shaking feeling. I had a doc’s appointment earlier this week; my mind was racing and I even struggled to answer some of his more basic questions. On top of that, yes, I was shaking as well. Whether anxious, nervous or whatever, I don’t know – but I think it was definitely some kind of anxiety pressure/stress that I was having.
I do get those kinds of feelings from time to time also. I also know about the bursting into tears feeling – if only. I want to, but I just can’t. It feels like I’ve got a dam of them ready to launch, but still they stay locked up. Is that how you’re feeling also?
I’m guessing that today is the day you are seeing your psych? I sure hope you come away from that appointment with some kind of benefit or positive; even if only a small piece of goodness, that’d be much better than not.
Please keep fighting.
Neil

Hi, have you tried meditation? When l get anxious l know it's hard to calm the mind. It's like a monkey jumping from one tree to another, but l have found meditation really helped me. There are heaps of guided meditations on Youtube. Type in 'guided meditation' and see what catches your eye and give it a try. Can l suggest a short 5-10 minute one first as there is less chance of you stopping the meditation and pulling out the 'I can't do this', which l did!
You have had so many responses from Beyondblue supporters. We all want you to be happy and healthy. Hang in there.
