Hi all
Another Friday ...a day I looked forward to in the past but this anxiety that has arrived 10 weeks ago has made minutes seem like years and I wondering if it will ever end..I selfishly think of my own worries 24/7 ..how people go on like this for years I find amazing ..every wrong decision goes through my mind all night
I am worried about wrecking my beautiful partners life with all this
I hope all this ends soon for all of us that are troubled

Hi pdent, welcome to beyond Blue forum
Friday? then pack you bags and do some camping. Great for anxiety. See my thread on this posted recently.
Truly, that is one avenue you can take to relax, back to nature.
Anxiety can take years to overcome. Mine took 25 years. The secrets? medication, relaxation therapy and aging. Other actions could be - change of workplace, ridding yourself of nasty people from your life and country living.
Take care Tony WK

ThanksI hope you have a peaceful weekend

Hi Pete,
The anxiety was always with me since childhood, just that a political incident at work triggered it big time. I was 32yo in 1988. So I had it for a long time. I think my anxiety is a good example of how we should look at our illnesses as a management for life scenario rather than cure.
During that 25 years of recovery several things occured, 1st marriage break up, 10 years defacto marriage that broke up and now with my 2nd wife and life is great. So there are other factors including aging that has a positive effect on anxiety. Like many mental illnesses it takes a mixture of remedies to make its full effect.

Hi Pete,
You might get something out of googling "Maharaji sunset" or Maharaji the perfect instrument". I've been using his youtube videos for many years.
Cheers
