Hello Ovenmitt
Thank you for posting as I know my self it can be very difficult at first. Whilst I can not give you a clear answer, I can tell you that I have been experiencing very similar symptoms myself recently and this I why I’m replying.
I should start by saying I am by no means an expert however I have suffered with anxiety and depression most my life and thought I had experienced everything it could throw at me however the last six months I’ve started to suffer from panic attacks myself/ it is terrifying. When I have attacks one of my first symptoms is trembling even before the panicked thoughts begin. My other symptoms include feaver like sweating racing heart rates and just all around feeling unwell. Whilst no one here can tell you for sure weather your symptoms are anxiety related rest assured it is a fairly common symptom.
You say you have seen your doctor about this and say they don’t know what it is, has anxiety ever been mentioned or discussed with them. You’ll be surprised how many GP’s are not fully aware of or can identify symptoms of anxiety and panic disorders. Its not completely their fault as they are trained to look at the physical symptoms and try to figure out what’s wrong with them however anxiety can not always be seen it happens in the brain it’s only when it starts to physically show itself do people typically see their doctors.
I recommend perhaps making another appointment with your doctor talk to them about your anxiety. It can be very hard, I know as I had to do this myself recently but there is absolutely no reason to feel ashamed or scared as it is the first step to getting better. As for a short term strategy to help you could try some kind of breathing exercises like mindfulness or meditation, light exercise can also be of benefit. Another thing that may help , is if you have some close family members or friends you can talk to and tell them how you are feeling can be very therapeutic. Remember you are never alone and reaching out to the forum is great and safe place to find help. Hope this helps
All the best Stan

Hi Ovenmitt
I recently have suffered anxiety and panic attacks and been shaking and unable to cope. It is very scary and I saw my Gp.
I have found a comfort posting on this forum . Its made me feel not so alone and also some good ideas. Some of the things which have helped me are, going for a walk, singing in the car, meditating, relaxation tapes, breathing exercises and talking to a friend.
I hope you can find something that helps you too.
