I’m constantly thinking about what my kids would do all day if I died, who would find them? Who would feed my 8 month old?
I haven’t felt normal in 3 years since this all started.
I want to feel normal again. I feel if this keeps going on I’m going to lose my battle.

Hi Sophie S,
Thanks for posting, we can see you have used the forums before it can be daunting, posting about things that are distressing for us. 3 years is a while to endure that health anxiety you mentioned, and that must be tough despite getting normal health test results, as you say. Have you thought about seeking some professional help? They could help you deal with the unpleasant thoughts you are having about your kids and the ongoing panic attacks too. Is there any relaxation or distration strategy to help you manage day to day?
Let us know how go, if you like.

Hey Sophie,
I am really sorry to hear you are struggling. Your anxiety sounds quite debilitating. Being trapped in the vicious cycle that you've described must be really difficult.
You don't need to answer on here obviously if you don't feel comfortable because I imagine it is quite personal, but do you know what may have triggered the anxiety initially? If you can, I would definitely try to avoid looking online at health information as this will likely just inflame the anxiety more. If you haven't already, maybe consider writing down all your different concerns either on paper or in a word doc to try to externalise some of your anxiety - this may also make it easier to challenge your thoughts and may allow the anxiety to have a little less power over you. Do you feel able to talk to anyone close to you about your concerns? If not, have you considered seeing a psychologist or GP to help you work through your anxiety? I am sorry I am not of much assistance but I really hope you are able to find something that helps.
Take care.

Hi Sophie,
I agree with sunnyl20. Never look up your symptoms online because you will really end up thinking about the worst. Continue looking for answers medically, or you can try calming yourself down using essential oils. They are great for stress and anxiety if you also do it along with meditation.
If you have tried all you can but everything says you're all good, have faith and do listen to your body, maybe it's just asking for a little more love and care. Keep your mind and body healthy and it's all about intaking healthy food and healthy thoughts.
