Hi folks 🙂
How are you all managing anxiety over the cost of living and financial crunches?
Things are tight and stressful at the moment. A product I buy at the supermarket has jumped from $8 to $12.95 in a few months (as an example), the cost of food has gone up and so have my bills (by most recent water bill has increased by $120 since the last billing cycle).
Advice and stories welcome - thank you 🙂

First off - know that you are most definitely not alone feeling like this over money. It's just an eternal source of stress and me and my family have been feeling the stress for ages.
1. I would say that this anxiety you are experiencing about it, to keep talking and don't sit with it. Like you are now.
Airing concerns just makes it all a bit more manageable somehow.
2. Practically. If you don't already, start planning meals for the week or fourthnight. Making sure that what you get can be used across the meals. There is a good site "love food hate waste" with lots of tips on using up fresh produce. Also, there a lot of different apps that let's you type in the food you have at home and will show you some amazing recipes using that. Also check if there are any pay it forward sites in your area, some offer food hampers if you are really in a pinch. For bills you might be able to go to salvos or St.vinnies for assistance.
I hope this helps you a little bit. I know how much energy it can consume worrying about things like that all the time.
