Hey there, thank you so much for reaching out and welcome to the forums. I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling, what an awful feeling.
Have you approached a GP, therapist, or counsellor about how you've been feeling recently? Some professional advice may be really helpful in general, but particularly with anxiety and sleep. Even a couples' counsellor may have some good advice to share to aid your relationship with your husband, if that's something you both would be open to.
As somebody who also struggles with my sleep, I know how much of a toll that can take on somebody. Listening to relaxing videos at night can help me fall into a deep sleep, as well as having a consistent or somewhat consistent wake-up time. Exercising during the day can also make you feel more sleepy at night-time, which can help with sleep quality. Having a nice warm bath before bed might also help to put you in that relaxed mood.
With regards to fear of driving, there are ways to alleviate and/or overcome this fear. Beginning with shorter drives in areas that you know well can help, just a little bit every day can make a big difference. Driving with somebody else who can help calm you through any distress may help, unless you've found in the past that driving with somebody else makes it worse - in that case, this may be a later step. It's important to remember that small steps can be impactful when you're working towards overcoming a fear. It's all about gradual changes that can eventually help you acclimatise completely.
I hope some of this advice can resonate with you, please feel free to keep chatting with us as we're here to support you.
Take care, SB
