Hi Guest_96322595,
We can imagine the incredible amount of courage you would have had, to say that you are not okay. Thank you for your bravery in sharing your story.
Anxiety can be an extremely all-consuming experience, that can feel incredibly overwhelming. We can see your strength and determination to overcome these challenges.
It sounds like you maybe feeling really alone at the moment, and it's not always easy to share how we feel. As you mentioned connecting to support groups within your local community can help lessen the toll on you. Here is a really helpful link to assist you in making these connections: Infoxchange Service Seeker
In additon to this, having some really good self-regulation strategies such as focused breathing, progressive muscle relaxation techniques, staying in the present moment, or a quick body check, can help. We have included ways to do that here: https://www.beyondblue.org.au/mental-health/anxiety/treatments-for-anxiety/anxiety-management-strate...
Please know that you are not alone, our lovely support team Talk to a counsellor - Beyond Blue - Beyond Blue, as well as our wonderful online community are here for you.
Thank you again for your courage and strength in sharing your thoughts here.
Warm Regards,
Sophie M
