Hi Sincere guy
Welcome and good on you for posting too!
The digestive system is the more sympathetic to anxiety than anywhere else in the body.
Ive had many years of chronic anxiety which has morphed into depression....ugh! and it still occasionally effects my digestive (IBS) system.
I have a friend that has difficulty holding down her food and the docs are looking at her anxiety as a trigger for her vomiting.
I remember when I had my chronic anxiety my appetite flew out the window for a few months then came back.
A second opinion is a great idea as I can only speak from my own experiences.
The GP's have much better training nowadays on anxiety and related issues compared years ago.
I hope some of this has been of help to you SG
let us know how you go....You have posted a good question here
my kindest
Paul
