Hello Anurer
Welcome to the forums and good on you for having the courage to post your thread too!
I understand the anguish you are going through with your anxiety condition....this is a horrible condition to have even though I am in recovery the symptoms are awful
With respect to you and the people that use Google to self diagnose....it can actually make our symptoms worse or even lead us down the wrong path altogether prior to doing a search
You are proactive with your health by consulting a health professional and having the tests done which have come back negative which is great to see Anurer! Health anxiety is a very common type of anxiety that many people have...There are many similar threads that have been written by proactive people like yourself
Just as per my experience with chronic anxiety.....Having a good quality sleep can be very difficult with our adrenaline pumping overtime. When we overthink we are then over stimulated which is not helpful where quality sleep is concerned (or any anxiety symptoms for that matter)
Have you communicated the way you feel to your GP? This is the best method in starting to find some peace of mind....and a good sleep! Making a double appointment with your GP can be a huge help....Even if you print out this page and let your doctor read it they will be able to help you more effectively
Just a note on Google....If we have a straight forward physical condition Dr Google can sometimes be helpful. With any type of anxiety there is way too many conflicting and confusing information to form a proper evaluation of what you are going through
Please do see a GP at soon as you can. Your symptoms although very common are best treated with regular counseling.....and yes even with your GP!
Their are many gentle people on the forums that can be here for you Anurer
Any questions are always welcome....You are not on your own
my kind thoughts
Paul

Dear Anurer
Hello and welcome. It's good to hear from you . As Paul said there are many people who have had similar experiences. Have a look in the Anxiety forum, the one you posted in, and talk to some of these people who are having similar difficulties.
Have a look under The Facts at the top of the page. You can complete the Anxiety and Depression checklist to give you an idea of your anxiety levels. If you do go to your GP take a copy of of this and the response.
There are also other topics to look at including information about physical health. Reading Dr Google can be useful in general terms but not enough to make decisions on. The information available from beyondblue is accurate and useful. You need to have a face to face discussion with a doctor to make a diagnosis. This is why we cannot say what is wrong. We are not doctors and we cannot see you in person. What we do is give general suggestions some of which have worked for us.
Some of your symptoms sound a bit like diabetes but could also be something else. I had type II diabetes and I know my sugar cravings were a big part of getting to that. I lost a large amount of weight and found I did not even like sweet stuff. Your thirst may be because you are dehydrated. Headaches can also be due to being a bit dehydrated. No idea about IBS, sorry. Drinking more in winter sounds silly but if you have heating in your home it can dry you up. So try drinking more water and see how you go.
Are you taking any medications? If so then ask your doctor if these could be the cause of some or all of your symptoms. See how you go and if these symptoms persist do go to your GP. Sleep loss may also be down to anxiety. Think about taking a medication to help you get back to your normal sleep pattern. You may be able to have something prescribed for this. Once you are sleeping well again there will be no need to continue meds.
Just as an aside I take a medication for a medical condition and it makes me hungry on the day I take it. I have to remember it's the meds that are doing this and I know I am not hungry because I have just eaten. Our bodies and brains can trick us and trip us up and we need to be aware of what's going on.
I hope this helps. Please see your GP again.
