Hi Hopeful,

Relationships are always hard. I always found the quote helpful "If you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it's yours, if it doesn't it never was".

Make a list of your priorities and do something good for your self.

Financial difficulties.

Make a budget and stick to it. If you buy lunch every day, then make your own instead.

Can you rent a room or share accommodation if your living alone? If you have a spare room can you rent it out?

Children

Are you in a position to care for a child at this time? Is he/she currently in an unsafe environment? If your not financial stable at this time, then supporting a child by getting them back may not be your best option. It may add to your anxiety/depression. Put yourself in your child's shoes and ask yourself is this how you would like to live? Your child will not love you any less either way.

As for the BF. Remove all the evidence of him around your place. Delete his phone number, delete and block him from facebook. Dont look at his facebook profile your only going to see things that you dont want to see. Avoid it at all costs. We want to see them miserable as you feel, but at the end of the day you become more miserable because he isn't miserable. Avoid this behavior. Yeah and don't forget to throw out his toothbrush.

Take on new hobbies or interests, take an art class, be creative. Explore the world with new eyes.

Be gently and kind to yourself most of all. Time really does heal wounds and time will go by faster by working on your priorities.

Love and Light,
