Hi there,

Im sorry to hear you have been struggling. I myself have had a pretty rough 6-12 months.

I separated from my long term partner in October last year, my cat passed away, I was living in a place I hated and then I got diagnosed with advanced cancer!

I understand how overwhelming things can be and the feeling of loneliness is real! If there's anything I can tell you in all of this, it's that you are not alone.

If you would like to chat at all, anytime, please don't be afraid to reach out to me, I would be happy to help anyway that I can, even if that is as simple as lending an ear.

Be kind to yourself, there is still a lot of good in this world amongst all the crap.

You are seen, you are loved!

Best,

Jono

Hi,

I've had a lot going on. Especially the past 4 years.

I'd already had significant people pass away before 4 years ago. But approximately 4years ago I lost my best friend to a heart attack. Kylee was 50. She left on 18 December 2021. 9 months later, my Mum passed.

My Dad passed in February this year.

I am struggling. I would love to hear from anyone out there ❤️‍🩹

Hello,

Welcome and thank you for reaching out to us.

I'm so sorry for your losses, I really do know how hard it is to keep your head above water when you are going through so much grief. I am in a better place now, but 14 years ago I was a broken mess.

How are you managing things? Do you have a counsellor or at least a friend or family member you can turn to? It really is tough going solo with all those emotions to deal with.

I lost my best friend too, in an accident at the age of 42. I have lost all my family now, one in an accident and the rest to cancer, I am a cancer survivor myself with 50 years+ experience of major depression. I am letting you know this to assure you that whatever you want to talk about will be understood.

I am now in my 60s and it took me many years to figure out why I had to go through so much. When I finally realised what the lesson was, it was easier to reframe the experiences. It was so that I could help others who are going through similar situations. Without my experiences, how could I possibly know what you are going through? It has stretched my ability to empathise with others, know how to help through experience rather than a text book. It is likely too soon for you to see it from this perspective, but there may come a day when you can.

I will be here for you whenever you need to talk and will do my best to help in whatever way I can.

Take good care of yourself,

indigo 💜
