Hi I’m a 32 year old single mum with two boys,8 and 2. Been in the Gold Coast for almost two years but lost my brother to suicide just after I moved up and have struggled to come to terms with. I have hardly been out of the house and have not made any friends here. The longer I am stuck in this rut the harder it is to pull myself out of it.

That sounds really tough , I’ve also lost a sibling to suicide so I understand ....my advice to you would be baby steps , take the boys to out of school things , go sit at the beach in the sunshine and slowly you will get out of the house , maybe do some volunteering at the school to meet mums and be around ppl ....it’s not easy but you will get there x
