dear Aly, thanks for posting your comment as it all seems strange to for you.

Can I make a couple of comments as I'm just thinking aloud here, and of course it's in no way that I would ever want to upset you, but first of all does her parents know that she maybe inclined to feel as though she likes you, picking up that you like her, I'm just saying this because her parents might be from an old school, which means that it's not on, but this has being going on for centuries, and it's been hidden, but there is nothing wrong with it, you love who you love, whether it's on a hetersexual, gay or lesbian level it does matter, that' your the love you want.

I can understand that this friend feels the pressure that her family is moving, but in response to this is that her parents have dominated her thoughts by saying 'it doesn't matter how you feel you won't see her soon', so she is totally confused, so I'd like to know how old the both of you are first of all.

If her behaviour changes then the both of you are under the age of 18, but firstly I would love to hear back from first, before I can continue, as there are other options to consider.

I may miss your reply because it may have gone to page 2 or 3 and then I will miss it, so please reply back on the current day so it's put back onto page 1, I'm sorry but so many posts are made each day, and there's nothing wrong with that, because depression is a main concern now.
She was the first person I told I was bi and since then I've been getting this feelings about her and then her parents suddenly told her that they're moving to another country in less than a month. Things with her have been a bit weird for a few months, like she'll be staring at me for a while and then look away when I look at her, or we'll be alone together and she'll snuggle up to me, but then the next minute she has a super mood-swing and suddenly won't even hug or talk to me - the other day she slept over at my place and one minute we were cuddling on the couch, basically on top of each other then the next she's hanging off the end of the bed like she doesn't want to be near me... Ever since I found out that she's moving I've just felt really lonely and upset and then when we're having one of our moments I feel fine but then she has this mood-swing thing and I feel terrible again. I really have no idea what to do and I just want to stop feeling like this.

Hi aly, welcome to beyond blue forums

I'm thinking logically...with an emotional topic. So dont know if my thoughts are right or not. I just want to help you clarify if I can.

More than likely she is struggling with her hetrosexual background and fears of others like family and friends, knowing she has feelings for you. I'd suggest this is very common in similar situations to yours.

There comes a point that you have to wait for her to respond also. Because if you push your feelings too far she could break off her friendship. i.e. dont risk your beautiful friendship on your passions.

Until that happens seek others company. Broaden your horizons with other people becaue a close friendship...if it should end, will devastate you.

Dont put all your friendly eggs in one basket.
