I am not out to my family and I go to a catholic school. I was just looking for advice, and I have actually asked one of my friends out. She said yes... but we both hate labels. I am nervous to tell people. Plz give advise. Thx. P.s. she is in America and will be for the next 5 weeks. :’’’(

Hi Gay panda, I used to go to a Catholic school. They're not always the best places to be getting support when you're thinking about coming out. I can't give you advice on whether you should do that right now, as you're the best judge of your environment and how safe it is. Have you heard of a place called Qlife? You can google them and find them, they have a phone line and an online chat that would be really helpful for you.

I think it's awesome that your friend has said yes to going out. 5 weeks must seem like a long time right now, and I imagine you're so excited you want to be able to tell people about it.

Try to take things at your own pace . You must be experiencing a real rush of feelings, if you don't have anyone else to talk to about these then come back and post them in here.
