&lt;P&gt;Thank you for posting this question. I have some social anxiety. I can remember when I first posted on the forum here it was quite difficult for me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I was reading something the other day which suggested that we humans have a primitive and a rational brain. The the fight and flight and other anxiety reactions might be a primitive response to a perceived threat. So there might be something triggering your response that you are not aware of.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also as well as social anxiety you might want to consider if it could be a trauma response. Could be from a childhood trauma or PTSD.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I hope you find an answer.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Trying to decipher my anxiety...</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I need your help. For the last 3 - 4 years whenever I am out in public, whether it is at the shops, a festival or sightseeing i get struck with an intense feeling of nausea to the point i feel like being sick out of the blue. Some times i'll feel tight in my chest but rare..nausea is my only symptom. I dont feel anything beforehand. Sometimes I may get these symptoms at home when im even by myself as well. I have seen a psycologist in the past and she seemed to think it could be some form of social anxiety....but i am a really confident person? I can chat to anyone and i am never intimidated by anyone.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Soo, my questions are as follows:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is nausea (only) a common form of anxiety?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What type of anxiety may I have and why does it happen out of the blue for no reason?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does this happen to anyone else?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How can i help my anxiety?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I look forward to hearing from someone.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Hi sweety thanks for reaching out to us. Yes I agree with your psychologist it sounds like social anxiety social phobia i too am a very out there sort of person who will b happy to talk with anybody but i can understand where ur coming from because i can feel very overwealmed when out in public its like im dying to come back home. Yes nausea is def a side effect of acute anxiety which means the anxiety comes out of no where out of the blue like you mentioned. If the psychologist has helped you in the past and you feel comfortable with them they can give up tips on how to mange when ur away from home. And many of us will give you tips on how to self mange when it springs up on you hope this has helped xx Venessa&amp;nbsp;</description>
