I am extremely scared of the thought of death at an old age. I start thinking about when I get old, and the reality hits me, “oh shit, I am going to die one day, and that’s the end. Nothing more.” </P> <P>It scared the shit out of me...</P> <P>the thought of just being dead . It’s black. Nothing. That’s it. </P> <P>These thoughts get so bad that I start choking up and can’t breathe. I have these thoughts daily and it does scare me very much too. I’ve got lots of problems lol but I learnt its just a symptom of depression and anxiety and it can be fixed! </P> <P>Talking about it is major and good on you for reaching out. It is why there are so, many quotes about seizing the day, etc...</P> <P>You are definetly not alone in these thoughts. You could try to distract yourself before you begin to start dwelling on it.
