Hello LoganDuds,

welcome to B.B. forums..It’s very hard to write out your post but I want to let you know you have done a really good job.

Im really very sorry that your struggling with anxiety...

Im very pleased that your wanting to let your parents know of your struggles..

Most Parents only want what’s best for us, I’m sure your parents are the same...I’m thinking that you could let both your parents know that you need to talk to them together about something that is concerning you.....If you find it difficult to talk to them about your anxiety, you could write out on a piece of paper what your experiencing with your anxiety and give it to them....or you could show them your post, here ....

Another idea, would be if your still at school to speak to your school health officer and ask if he/she can speak to them together with you, or on your behalf, to let them know of how you struggling with your anxiety....

I hope things work out for you, more wonderful people will call in with their ideas as well..this is really a very safe place ....Please let us know how you get on.....

Kind thoughts,

Grandy....

hi loganduds,

i went through the same thing you did and i understand how hard it is. eventually, my school intervened and told my parents they were concerned about my anxiety levels after a school wide survey, which led to them confronting me about it and me being forced to open up in a very awkward situation.

i think its best if you just ask to talk to them one night, and although it will be awkward at first, it feels good to let it out and know that hopefully they will be supportive of you. im sure they just want whats best for you, and in the long term, it will have felt good to finally open up.

all the best.
