Thanks for writing in. What you are saying is so common, low pride and ssomewhat detached from reality.

We are to a point, dealt the hand we have, and we just cannot do much about that. You aren't ugly, society, people dictate what ugliness is and we follow that.

However we can explore ideas. Like growing a fringe, makeup and jewellery.

But the single biggest change ever, that guys love and it overtakes all things of appearance is?...personality.

If you can make a guy laugh, be cheeky, playful but mix it up with a caring attitude a guy will fall in love with you.

As for crooked lips, as a guy I've always loved those sorts of imperfections in girls.

Think about all of that. Madonna has a gap in her teeth, Taylor Swift has slots for eyes, the premier of nsw has a bent nose...the difference is, these people accept these imperfections as just how it is.

Strive to like yourself. We are all beautiful

Thanks for sharing how you are feeling. I am sure there are many who feel the same way. I know I did as a child, a teenager and my young adult life.

Hope you consider the words Tony WK has shared with you.

I have known some very beautiful women who have been absolutely horrid and nasty! Some of the most popular girls at school pretty but they were also bullies.

Some people have been blessed with beauty, like Tony said, the world around us does not always help us feel like we are good enough.

Hopefully you will be able to recognise and appreciate your own self.

Recently I saw a man who had suffered severe burns to his face. He had no hair, no ears and very little nose. The thing that caught my attention was his smile!
