Hi Anxiety1p101

Welcome to the forums and for having the strength to post too!

The forums are a judgement free and Safe place for you to post. From what you have posted your Neurologist is spot on with 'slight essential tremor'....This is very common with even low level anxiety conditions

I asked my own GP about my hands shaking after a workout...or especially using a whipper snipper....My GP's hand shake after he has a workout too.

The mdma and coke can cause various psychological issues with ongoing use....like marijuana (hydroponically grown) can open the door for schizophrenia/psychosis for some people that have a predisposition to a mental illness

Anxiety conditions can develop in our late teens to our 20's which is very common

The teeth grinding and shakes are usually anxiety based and still very common

A double appointment with a good GP can work wonders...seriously

Just talking to your GP about what you have on your mind can bring you some serious peace of mind 🙂

Any questions are welcome....Please be gentle with yourself Anxiety1p101

my kind thoughts....and have a good weekend too!

Paul

Severe GAD or a physical Disorder?!?

I am 19 years old and 5 Months ago i travelled to europe and had a massive couple of nights in amsterdam where i did mdma and coke (regret every bit of it trust me).

5 months later i am obviously much better but i still have alot of physical symptons that extremely concern me. I have never had anxiety but for the last 5 months, all i can think about is how i have done some awful neurodegenerative disease (als, ms and the list goes on in my motor neurones).

- This is due to the fact that i now have a slight tremor (most noticeable in thumbs) almost all the time and my muscle movements feel different (clockwise when move). After exercise i also shake vigorously for about 25mins after.

- My muscles also feel weak after moderate walks which would never used to happen.

- I think alot about my jaw chattering when my bottom and top teeth are together which creates strain and stopping me from closing my jaw.

- I have a high pressure feeling in my nose/eyes (sinus).

- Also i get the occasional muscle twitch every day.

I have visited a neurologist once for about 20mins and he did a spine tap and said "all is well you might have a slight essential tremor". But this seriously has not convinced me one bit for all the other symptons that allign perfectly with other Nerve Disorders.

I was just wondering if my gut feeling is right about an actual physical effect i have done to myself or this is severe GAD of some sort??!!

Any response would be much appreciated cheers
