I'm sorry you are back in hospital & find that frustrating. Over a period of about 10 years I was admitted to the acute mental health ward 3 to 4 times each year.

Sometimes my meds would be reviewed & sometimes I had ECT.

I remember clearly my first admission. I had 3 admissions to a general hospital which achieved nothing. But when I was in the acute ward I felt a sense of relief. These people understood what was wrong with me.

They tried so many different meds which seemed like torture at the time. Eventually they hit upon the right combinations & I've been on those same meds for 20 years with no further admissions.

I know it's tough right now but things will get better. There is always hope. And meds are so much better these days.

Try & speak to a discharge planner before you leave & have supports within the community set up. Writing on here is great & you can make use of all the helplines.

I finally found you, I've been searching endlessly. I'm worried about you.

You know you help so many people on here...right? Your metaphors are crazy cool and insightful, and your advice is really helpful and has been beneficial for many people, who knows how many. You have touched, in some way or another, the lives of heaps of people who need help, who didn't need help, for those you meet on a train or passing on the street.

You're special, you know.

I will come telling you I care very much about you, and I'm sorry I can't do more than just say I, and a whole community of other lovely people, are here for you. And we care. You're valuable to me. You've helped me so much, and i always look forward to reading what you have to say because I think your mind is beautiful. There's not one bit of ugliness. You're cool, and you're real and you're genuine. You know what's going on. I admire that.

Things look dark now, but it'll get better, Mitch. I promise. I'm sorry you're going through so much.

Remember you mean something to me; I would hate it if anything were to happen to you.
