Hey doggo,

Sounds like you have heaps going on at the moment. I can see why you're not feeling so great right now 😞 Break ups are really tough! I know I have really struggled with my own relationship breakdowns in the past.

I think it's awesome that you have decided to reach out on the beyondblue forums though. It shows that you have a lot of strength and courage.

Do you have anyone in your life that you might be able to talk to that aren't your parents? Like a friend, or even a gp? It might be useful for you to have some extra support at the moment so you've got people to chat to if you feel lonely. Anyone spring to mind that you might be able to text or call?

In the mean time, can you think of anything that might help get you through the next few days? When I feel down I try and watch a new TV series. I find it takes my mind off stuff and it gives me the opportunity to have a mental break.

I have severe depression, anxiety and have been diagnosed with a eating disorder. My parents made me break up with my girlfriend, they thought a relationship was too stressful. I am not allowed to see her, she is the only thing that made me happy. My parents wont listen and I am getting worse. I miss her.

So yah help

Hey,

That's good news. Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.

Whenever I have seen a new psychologist I find myself basically blurring out half my life story and getting to the end of the session and being like... but I still have so much more to go.

Think about a few of the most important things you want to talk to them about tomorrow and maybe you could write them down as a reminder?

lanejane 🙂
