hello Random, when someone gets depression of any type their friends normally avoid them, simply because they don't know what to say or how to handle the situation, so the easiest thing to do is disappear and not include you in any parties or get together's, that's the tragedy of having depression, but as Jay has said please get back to us and let us know a little bit more, so that we can help you.

Feeling lost like I don't know who my real friends are, it feels like people on care when there could be impacts for them.

didnt go to a party this week cause some "friends" were trying to avoid me about it/ hanging out before it

just feeling like I've been wasting so much time with people who don't care and I don't know what to do anymore

Hi Random323,

Firstly, welcome to the forums.

Sorry to read what you are going through, friends is a common issue we see on these forums. It is such a very tough thing when you feel confused about who your friends are.

Just so we can try and help you the best we can, what exactly are you after from the forums? Are you looking for a place to vent or after particular advice?

My best for you,

Jay
