Hi

I haven’t posted on here before so sorry if I don’t do this right. I just cry all the time. Curl up in a ball and hide and cry and literally can’t stop it. I want to stop and just feel a bit happy but I don’t know how. I’m seeing a doctor already but it’s taking so long to feel better and I just want to get out of bed and not cry

yeah it's horrible being like that but crying at least is an out for stress

You did a good job posting btw 🙂

Do you know what's pulling you down?

Sorry you feel this way, I do know what that's like
Things can get better eventually. Bit of time but worth the effort

Are you getting decent sleep & enough?

It’s a horrible feeling when the tears never stop and every thought seems to set you off. Personally I haven’t felt much for a long time and a good cry would make me feel human again. I would take your tears away if I knew how. I want you to feel happiness as well.

Cuddles are always a comfort. Perhaps watch your favourite movie or funny YouTube videos just to lift your spirits and distract you from what you are thinking.

Sleep for me gives me some time where my emotions can flatten out a bit. Try not to sleep during the day though.

If you have a pet perhaps spend sometime with it.

Make yourself a hot chocolate and perhaps sit with a loved one or friend.

Sometimes letting it out is all you can do. I have been through times where I’ve cried so much I don’t think I have tears left. But then it starts all over again.

Keeping hydrated is important.

Listening to music is always calming. I think some quiet relaxing time may be what you need. I am sending you a virtual hug and all my good wishes. i hope you feel better soon.

Hi you’re not alone. I even cry in public places sometimes. It’s hard work when you see everyone else looking so happy but I think we cry because we are wearing our heart on our sleeve however look at all the people who don’t cry, bottle it all up inside and then do the unthinkable. I hope you find a happy place again

Hey 168 & all ☺

Uly good post, valid point about those holding it in, I think though for some it works but mostly it's unhealthy for MH. Stress needs an out, if not, adds to depression.

I too have a LOT cried publicly esp did in heavy grieving (was incredible, a chooky from my real estate often appeared different places listened & supported. It's hard publicly the down rot starts in childhood unfortunately...cry baby taunting, thought as weak, recently I realised it's NOT at all, it's an emotional release usually pain. Better than lashing out at others.

We'll work it out guys, we're doing it right here, talking, supporting, caring
