Hey people I'm new to this page nice to meet you,

To be honest I just don't know who I am anymore or maybe I don't want to know who I am. The actions I have made completely go against who I was and all of my morals. Me before would look down upon me now. I'm struggling to accept my newly emerging identity because I don't think it is a good one. Do I try to go back to who I was? Do I continue as I am now? Sorry, I realised I'm just saying the same thing over and over again.

From me

Hi Sammy,

Thanks for your post it is lovely to meet you as well:) I think it is common during our journey of life to do things that are different or out of character especially in our younger years or really any years. Especially during a major life change. The important thing to know is that your actions do not define who you are. I guess sometimes people judge us by our actions but I think that is why there is the saying " Don't judge a person until you have walked in there shoes'. Meaning we don't know why people did what they did. The main thing is to reflect on what you learn't and maybe why you did whatever and maybe how you might do things differently in the future. You may or may not be religious but Buddha teaches that we are already perfect on the inside, its just as we go along in life we connect more with that perfection and beauty in us by shedding off our imperfections and negativities and this normally comes through learning and experience. I wish you all the best, you are not alone and please call us 1300 224636 or chat again we would love to hear from you. Be kind to yourself 🙂 Nikkir x

hello Sammy, thanks for posting your comment, however you are questioning on whether or not you want to continue on as you are, because you don't seem to be happy, so it could mean that there is something that is troubling you, or something you are trying to challenge but don't know how to.
It doesn't take any awful event for you to develop depression, it can grow on you over a period of time until it puts you in a different world where you begin to question everything and wonder why all of a sudden this has happened, well you don't have any answers and that's what annoys you.
You have posted in the young section so could you tell us how old you are and whether you can go and see your doctor by yourself or whether you need an adult to go with you. Geoff.
