I was wondering if anyone took the time to <G class="gr_ gr_81 gr-alert gr_gramm undefined Grammar multiReplace" id="81" data-gr-id="81">say thank</G> you. Thank you for giving, forgiving, being patient and understanding. For being a friend, a partner, a confidante in times of need.

Being true to the relationship that fights a battle of the dark and for providing a light that keeps the path possible to see.

Thank you for your strength to support a sometimes seemingly hopeless situation, and admit that at times that you don't always have the answers.

Thank you for being strong even though you get hurt and your heart breaks, but you still extend your hand and heart anyway and accept the pain when it comes.

Thank you for carrying the burden of two and sometimes with tears, but you always hold your head up high and see the dawn of
a brighter day.

But most of all, never forget how much you are admired and loved for who you are and what you do.

That is so awesome, every word I can relate to. I am a mother for a 15 year old at risk son.

You must thank yourself too. Sometimes there arent anyone who see the battle that you go through each day.

Thank you, Carmela.

Hi Carmela

What a wonderful post/topic! Beautifully written and so very heartfelt 🙂

I had to read it twice...I have never had anyone say thankyou to carers the way you have phrased it. I am looking after a few people (not on the forums) with newly diagnosed acute anxiety disorder, severe depression, dementia and the other bad thoughts...whilst I am out of work...

dear Carmela, a great post because what the carer does is beyond belief and so much is done without being noticed or thanked for.
I have been a carer for two elderly chaps and I know that it's not easy to do and can be very demanding. Geoff.
