Hi Overthinger,

Thank you for your post. It is not always easy to share so openly, and we are glad that you have been able to here. It sounds like this has been weighing heavily on you and we hope that by sharing here it can lighten that load a little bit.

New relationships can be both exciting and daunting while we find out more and more about another person. It can also be a time where overthinking and self-doubt feel heightened, which can be really challenging to try to manage. Is there anyone in your life that you feel like you can talk about this with? It is a lot to manage all on your own.

If you ever wanted some extra support, we recommend reaching out to Relationships Australia, you can call them on 1300 364 277. They also have some great advice on their pages, such as this one on communication in relationships. You are also always welcome to reach out to the lovely Beyond Blue counsellors on 1300 22 4636 or speak to them on webchat here.

Thanks again for sharing here. We hope this can be a safe and welcoming space for you. We are here to support you.

Kind regards,
