I would like others feelings on the matter. If you found out that your partner is secretly masturbating to porn while you are sleeping in another room do you consider it cheating. I do, my partner obviously doesn't and says that all men watch porn. If we had a healthy sex life I probably wouldn't care but he shows no interest in me except for pity sex maybe once every 6 weeks or so. I'm no supermodel but I consider myself to be a reasonably decent looking thirty-something woman. How would others handle this situation?

From a male, i dont think its cheating but everyone has there own opinion on this im sure

Provided he treats you well and is otherwise faithful in reality.

Its a grey area and you'll get mixed responses.

Maybe try and find out why he's doing it and whether there's an underlying issue causing him to do it

I don’t not think it’s cheating. However only because it bothers you I think a councillor with expertise in that field would be beneficial. If he doesn’t attend then go alone to learn coping mechanisms

I think you are asking the wrong question Disth0708.

It doesn’t matter whether society proclaims watching pornography is cheating or not.

The real question you should be asking yourself is what boundaries of behaviour are you willing to accept. That’s all that matters.

If you find it unacceptable perhaps this relationship should end. If you can live with it, that’s fine too.
