Wierd after effect after ECT therapy - Glimpses of Hell

I suffer from Manic Bipolar to name a few. I had become resistant to my regular medication and after consuting with my psych we decided on ECT. Anyway to cut a long story short after my first ECT I had a dream where I visited hell for a brief moment in time. The vision was so real I stilll shudder at the thought. This happened another 4 times whilst completing my 4 sessions and I am now convinced there is a hell. Has anyone experienced anything remotely similar as I think the ECT alllowed some portal or gateway to be opened that was otherwise dormant.

Hi Greg,

I'm just wondering how the rest of your ECT's went ? I'm looking at having that treatment also, and there is nothing really up to date on these forums that I can read up on , Well not that I can find anyway , so I'm hoping you'll be able to share your experience... Was there any positives ? How is your memory now ? Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated..
