Hi Viper 57,

I am sure a lot of people have had bubble busting experiences with their G.P.'s as well as bubble forming ones.

G.P. s are just ordinary people, exposed to the same things that we all are. They have successes and they sometimes make mistakes. All humans do. They can't possibly get everything right all of the time.

In some places they work exceptionally long hours trying to run their General Practice and look after a local hospital as well.

Where I am, in the past few years, they come and go at regular intervals. There is little continuity and when the doctor changes, mistakes are likely to be made and misunderstandings occur.

I experienced one very recently, - four years of progress wiped out over night.

It was a major setback to me, almost shattering in fact.

It was a case of a new doctor wrongly prescribing a new medication. Fortunately I recognised it, went back to the doctor, complained, and with the doctors approval stopped using it. Now I'm well on my way back to where I was before the wrong stuff was prescribed, maybe even, marginally better in fact. It's still a bit early to absolutely certain about that, although I am fairly confident I am right back on top of it again. I feel it, very strongly indeed.

That bad medication caused the blackdog or depression to come calling. I recognised it, then removed it, substituted another product, and now it (the blackdog) has gone away. My Peripheral Artery Disease is now well under control again, - not cured, but 1000 times better than it was four years ago - and still improving. It has been a painfull journey though, but the pain when walking is much reduced now. Another couple of months and I reckon it may disappear altogether, despite some difficulties with doctors. We are getting there. I even managed to jog about 50 metres yesterday during my walking, and I haven't been able to do that for at least 7 years.

Go back and talk to the doctor again and explain your concerns - that's what I'd advise. It is the first step in alleviating your concerns .

I hope this reply is of some help.

Kind regards,

Sea-n-sky.
