      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Carpetenthusiast~&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are talking about a private psychologist any notes they make about a patient are their own private property and nobody gets to see them in the ordinary course of events. Normally if a psychologist's findings are required they are given in the form of a formal report, this is of course charged. The patient either requests or agrees for this to be done&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An exception is if an assessment is ordered by a court.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Interactions between psychologist and patient are confidential, and with the provision that the psychologist does not feel there is an immanent chance of a person coming to harm that confidentiality remains&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the case of a hospital the responsibility may be blurred due to staff shift changeovers, I would imagine any notes are the property of the hospital, though I'm not really sure..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope this sets your mind at rest&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Croix&lt;/P&gt;</description>
