Hi again,

Community Champions here are those with a vast array of life experiences. We are not professional medical people. So we use our experiences to tap into so we can steer members towards a possible solution to their problems.

One problem we sometimes have is identify the real issue so we can refer to other more professional resources or help solve problems with solutions we found helpful.

With your posts I'm finding it difficult in that identification. I do see an overall confusion of society, lack of accepting how humans behave and how society has developed. If you think I helped at all with your first post then I'm happy to continue conversing. But I really need you to help us with your own thoughts on where you pin point your main issues. eg how do you see yourself compared to the average person? Is there any childhood reason you can think of that has led to your views? Have you had any professional treatment for any mental illness? Do you have any insight to your own misgivings? Is there any envy present for other people that seem content with life? What do you like about yourself? Do you have hobbies, sports, interests?

I am here daily and can respond.

TonyWK

Welcome to my first post, just to disclaim this has nothing to do about me being depressed or suicidal.

I just cant get over how unbelievably pointless & painful this life factly is, now when i say this i don't mean that we should all just stop what we're doing & start staring at a wall, but its really important to not be naive about this, which is kinda what society is, a whole cesspool of contradictions & distractions, most of the things that we do nowadays are to just feed the mind & keeping the body satitsfied from breaking down too suddenly by stimulation such as releasing chemical rewards, all these can be achieved but cant always guaranteed happiness, which is another thing i cant stand about this civilisation or should i say work in progress, its almost like if you cant be happy to a certain extend or people please to fulfill theyre jester full desires, theyre gonna be contempt of you no matter what, all becuase you cant live up to absurd expectations, nobody's gonna be problem free in this world, which is why most of the things we do are just to kill time, which is why i can understand why people get addicted to things, because we live in a reality thats pretty disappointing, even those things have a limit, it may be giving you relief, but realise it never lasts long, only because we're not so used to looking into healthier outlets, to be honest i dont think we live in a healthy world, most things are instant gratification, chasing pleasure, looks maxing, because sooner or later you have to ask yourself why do we need all these things just to get by in life that never lasts forever, its only awkward at first when youre not so used to asking such things, like being conditioned since the start of birth, by people who arent even aware themmelves of whats going on around them, but expect you to know what you wanna do when really its not as straight forward as anyone thought is was gonna be, for pete sake, people cant even figure out what theyre gonna do next weekend, yet they expect you to have your future figured out, we live in a double standard judgemental condescending populous, which is why its very important to see behind the scenes in everything, its dangerous to be gullible by believing everything you see or hear, It is quite certain that society doesnt really do a good job teaching these sort of attributes.

Stupid how they only give you 2500 characters, its like theyre allergic to hear what people really have to say, anyway thank's for reading.

Society Is Fake

Society is... very.. very... "fake", nothing you do is ever appreciated unless you make a mistake, we overlook one another, we treat eachother as expendable resources, we look down on one another, we make fun of each others misfortunes, we have a tendency to take advantage on others, we make life harder than it has to be because we can't help ourselves by being too complex, people pretend to be nice when theyre only trying to see what they can get out of you, people have a habit of carrying a god complex as if theyre somehow the chosen ones, we're ruled by leaders that are cowards & sadistic manipulators, our bosses & co workers can snitch you out by whatever excuse they can plot as they see fit, authoritarians pretend to be youre friend when really theyre just as corrupt, we pretend to be there for someone when really its more of a reputation to maintain, even our own friends & family can be such swindlers.

We all live through a paradigm camouflaged by fisades, fonts, mirages, liars, patroniser's, persona's, you know its hilarious how i hear people say to me that "this is the reality we live in", well if thats the case then no wonder things are the way they are, its like we gotta be so cliche to the point we're unconsciously manifesting absurd behaviours as acceptable just to go around & telling others the same thing, then people wonder why things arent turning out well for them, why nothing's going their way, theyre gonna beat themselves up thinking its their fault, that they're not good enough or feel like theyre not acceptable to society, oh im not useful enough, that im unlovable, i dont have what it takes etc.

When it comes down to it all, it really is all about survival, i mean you think we're all here doing what we are doing because we enjoy it, because there's some bigger intrinsic meaning to all this, nah nah, we're all just here to keep our head afloat, because once you step out of line & start drowning, its gonna be really difficult to win your dignity back, now people know this which is why we try to keep it a low profile, at the same time i cant blame them, but just goes to show the kind of society we put up with.

Its no wonder why you see folks discouraging, insulting themselves, having mental breakdowns, being secretive about their true feelings, just know that you're not the failure, societies the true failure.

A fast pace globe that demands & demands, we're just tools pretty much, seen as assets.

Thanks

Hi there op.

There's good and bads everywhere, we gotta remember that sometimes, in any country and population no matter how saintly they appear on tv. We have to find our good in our own worlds, people that work with similar ideals and values- which don't grow on trees for any of us so should we be so lucky , appreciate them and move along from others.

Sadly in Aus these days and especially in this last decade or two, people are forced to work both ends and strive to cope and acquire all the while with soulless Govs usually making all that even harder and while never even mentioning words like friends, family, good will, looking after ea other, to their people, media's no better.

It's all a numbers and gdp's and taxes and economy and crime and more rules more rules to control us all mentality and v sadly that's all gone through to our people to. Doesn't mean we have to except it though or become the same. Some countries and gov's stress the first part in their people but here they skip any of that and just get straight onto the last parts and so unfortunately this is what we get.

Fortunately there are still though plenty of good people out there, the kind the are impressed by the things that really matter or at least a mix of the both and there's nothing wrong with that part.

Come back and chat with Tonywk and others , he has much people experience and can guide you in many ways toward the ones that really matter in life, they are around, know some myself thkfully.

Good luck

rx

hello and welcome.

some of the things you have mentioned in your opening post I have said to my psychologist. Perhaps on more than one occasion. Each time however, she reminds me that not everyone is like that. There are indeed good people. Some of it might be shaped by our experiences, things that have happened to us in the past? And it does suck when things happen that taint how we think about others. Finding even one or two people who aren't 'faking it' can help to the survival part a little easier?! You aren't alone in feeling this way.

Listening if you want to chat more.

I'll agree, I like to believe there's honest good folks out there too, its just hard to tell if its unconditional by rarity, since being good can have standards involved unless theres reciprocation which you do get others expecting from each other, depending on the individual, thats just how I look at it, so im not trying to expose anybody.

Me personally tv just gives mind rot, its just not as constructive nor entertaining like it used to just hypnotising production, especially the media, just too much.

Now yea there can be goods & bads i wont lie about that, though when you really look at it, most good experiences are hard to come by, due to all the excessive mishaps that people are forced to go through & put up with against their own will, so yes its possible to enjoy things, but its important to not be oblivious of our surroundings, afterall we do co exist with it & yes it isnt always pretty to observe.

Yea its a shame how things are being run here, not just here though i think its being done on purpose in other parts, dont get me wrong we do have things we can appreciate from at least, but it is starting to feel like a penitentiary prison.

Hi Realist_Sapien

I think one of the most challenging things in life involves navigating how to feel what we gradually become conscious of. A lot of the things you mention were never a problem when we weren't fully conscious of them and they wouldn't be a problem if we didn't start to feel them so much. I find it tends to be about 1)how to manage awareness and 2)how to feel constructively. Definitely not easy at times, on both counts, but I've found that if I don't address such things it can seriously impact my sense of wellbeing and level of sanity.

I find

If I don't become more conscious of amazing caring people such as smallwolf, white knight and randomxx then I'm only conscious of feeling the self serving nature of people who don't care about making a positive difference to others

If I don't become conscious of the need for a sense of humor at times, I'd become as insane as the rest of the world (in general). Whether it involves the Kardashian family's butt implants, gang members who wear their jeans so low to the point they could fall off at any moment or the fact that a certain number of Americans chose to vote in a sociopath, some things are more laughable than others. With that last one, definitely no laughing matter at times

Becoming conscious of the need to maintain a healthy balance between modern progress and some of the things, habits or beliefs from the good old days is an absolute must, in my opinion. As a gal born in 1970, I acknowledge reading from a Kindle has its benefits but it lacks the sensory experience and the soulfulness of a physical book. And while I acknowledge an incredibly super dark side to the internet, if not for the internet we wouldn't be meeting on the forums here. Nothing wrong with a small dose of the internet for the right reasons

I could go on with a whole stack of examples of how to feel at a level of consciousness that can seriously challenge us at times.

While many times I was led to believe 'sensitive people are weak' (myself included) or 'sensitivity is something to be ashamed of', I eventually discovered the truth or what you could call 'a reality shift'. Sensitive people are simply people who can sense more than others. They can sense what is enraging, what is depressing, what is socially insane. The can sense disappointment when they feel it, injustice when they feel it and a world gone mad when they feel it. They can sense the parasitic nature of mainstream media, an industry that feeds on fear, heartbreak, despair and more and they can sense the nature of their own inner dialogue (depressing or uplifting). Whether those who can sense so much and so easily switch off from what they can feel, seek out those who do care, return or turn again to joyful ways etc etc is something that involves a shift in consciousness and sometimes a sense of desperation or much needed change. With two sides to the 'sensitive' coin, we can feel both the dark and the bright side, something that requires serious management and self mastery.

Whats up y'all, today Im gonna talk about how "working is not working."

Isn't it just crazy & concerning how much time we put in & think about our job's unless you like what you do you know.

Concurrently & not ashamed to say, i just dont care about the workforce & i never did, I only do it because I have no other choice, thing is if i dont then im gonna be out on the street, not because "i want to" where i get others misinterpreting saying what's that... you dont wanna work.. whats wrong with you bro, no man whats wrong with (you), like why do you buy into this so much, just like the phrase you'd hear being thrown around how "nobody wants to work anymore," now i dont know where that originated from, but some people need to understand that not everyone's gonna have a passion, not everyone's gonna like what theyre doing, & not everyones gonna be in this together, me personally I'd do solo if I could because I just dont like working with others, theres just too much drama, too much gossiping, too much nagging, too much fake enthusiasm, alot sarcasm, no accountability, working without the right compensation, always hearing coworkers telling me how they hate their jobs & how boring which i can understand where theyre coming from, & just too much on our mental health, like you can work in any industry depending on your status, but you cant be free without money ruling over your life, how amazing ain't it.

Now i understand how we need to provide for ourselves, but at the end of the day, these companies just dont care about us, then expect us to pour our optimism with so little in return as a way of saying thank you, bragging about how they give us work life balance & get payed enough just to pay all these bills just to keep our job's & do it all over again for years to come, what kind of life is this, how can anyone not be annoyed by this, unless you dont question anything & just go with the flow, then i wish I was you then, seriously.

I had many jobs before & I will say people do treat you differently based on your job title, its a bias we have a bad habit of doing, just know that i dont care what profession you do, i dont care what your salary is, i dont care if youre unemployed, i treat you just like i would wanna be treated vice versa okay, all this status stuff needs to be thrown in the trash because we're no different from eachother & life is tough, if youre lucky enough to not be part of this scheme, dont ever feel bad man, do what aligns with you.

Signing out.

I see what youre saying, it definitely isnt good to always be around unvibrant vibrations, only thing is some people just never choose to feel how they feel despite how they tried navigating their senses, sometimes it just happens out of their control, some people would assume that theyre just going throught a psychosis when really they just been through alot you know & its not their fault, life can just be pressuring at times, even when we weren't as conscious before it would've still been possible to feel pain & sentimentalism, just like other species where you see them immobilised by their predator & have no choice but be devoured, which isnt satisfying at all.

Having a great sense of humour ill agree, even i make myself laugh at times, I dont think theres anything wrong being sensitive, like you'd think being conscious would be great then at the same time it can a curse where i heard people say, like once you know theres no going back, doesn't mean its not possible to have a good life still, just becomes more complex to navigate.

I think theres alot of things lacking authentic feel, like most of the things you buy right, have manageable rights to it, so instead of owning the whole thing you only own part of it like a license where in case they closed down you lose access to that content & yea that is concerning, many subscription's services, but not enough free use, & yea the internet can be really poisonous especially with AI, getting even more difficult to tell whats real or not.

Yea yep, I think theres good people out there as well, nobody should have to go throught any of that stuff horrific experience you know, I remember reading something, cant recall the title, but it was about a king & prince, the father would do everything in his ability to make sure his son had a great life, so he kept him from knowing the outside world just like repunzel, then one day he started getting bored about his surroundings so he wanted to see what else was out there, his father tried to stop him but the boy was old enough to make his own way, so he ventured out & realised from his journeys that its wasnt all what he believed it was all this time, i cant remember what happend at the end, but it sure was interesting.

Hi Realist_Sapien

So true how our circumstances or experiences can dictate our feelings, such as with that which is traumatic, enraging, overwhelmingly stressful or depressing. Our feelings can lead the way until we become more conscious of them and a different way. While it can take some folk days or weeks to find a different way, it can take others years and that's not always their fault. Being able to see things differently or feel things differently can be dependent on so much. Meeting all the right people or having all the right revelations can be a completely different experience from never meeting the right people or never having the types of revelations that put us on an entirely different path in life.

Being more conscious definitely adds to the complexity of life. It's a little like a double edged sword. For example, we might want to become more conscious of the reasons for our suffering, so that we can better understand what it stems from or why we experience it so intensely. Before you know it, you've gone down the section of a rabbit hole that relates to sufferance. While, step by step, the finer details of our sufferance through life come to light (based on certain revelations/enlightenment), this doesn't take away from the fact it can feel like 'a rabbit hole of sufferance'. Not an easy place to be, that's for sure. I think we can either get stuck in that part of the rabbit hole or we come out the other side, better for having gone in. With the 'stuck' factor, it pays to call out for guidance or help of some type. We can't always see or feel the best way forward.

I can relate to the workforce experience. While there have been jobs I've absolutely loved, there have been some I just couldn't tolerate. I finished up, regarding my last job, just last Friday. With a change of ownership, it it was just becoming too depressing, enraging and stressful. I don't do depressing, enraging and stressful terribly well😁. I figure owners are a little like parents, you can have ones that resemble 'I care and welcome any feedback but you do understand it's my job to be tough as I manage you and the business'. I can work with that and did for a number of years. The new owners resemble the kind of parents who are more like 'I don't care, you'll do as you're told. Don't question me'. While I acknowledge there's no need to question everything, I do question a significant workload increase with reduced hours, just to name one example. As far as logic goes it doesn't add up but emotionally it adds up to ongoing stress. Not good for the nervous system. If we're going to have our nervous system for the rest of our life, we need to know how to best look after it.

Before i get confronted just know this has nothing to do with loathing nor campaigning against, this may be a dogmatic take, but can also be hypothetical from a non existent's view point.

What is the main reason for bringing a child or any sentient into this world, also why is it celebrated?

Is it to give meaning, is it to preserve the bloodline, is it to fill a hole within ourselves, is it to maintain the economy, is it to give entertainment, is it because theyre cute, to create more jobs, I could go on & on.

What's the real objective behind it, see as humans its in our DNA preserve & create meaning in a life thats temporary to prolong chance's of survival, which theres nothing wrong with, we've been doing that all along, where you think to yourself, "so whats the issue" here?

Well actually, there are a plentiful of reasons why subjecting more life could do more harm than good, may sound like propaganda, but something that many people dont even think about or consider due to our hard wiring as a biological species.

We are susceptible to age, sickness, competition, tragedy, hunger, plagues, world disasters, sadness, addictions, emotional hurt, disappointed, lonliness & more.... see when it comes to creating new life, you need to understand you are bringing not just any being that may flourish, but also bring a new set of problems with a world already plagued with problems & history.

And thats what majority dont seem to comprehend very well, due our desires, responsibilities, norms, etc, the only cure is by thinking from their point of view not just ours.

Not only are you creating a new set of problems, but youre also already planning for someone thats not even alive yet, as if you have it all figured out in a unpredictable future, because we cant predict the future, just like we cant predict the stock market, so pretty much you are gambling your chances on a being that may or may not have the same intentions as you would have within yourself for them.

Youre probably asking yourself am I a bad person for committing such a sin, No.

Whats done is done, you are responsible for them no matter what life throws at them, not stopping at 18 or 21 despite law, what matters out of all is being the best parent you can be for them physically, emotionally & economically, once they're here, you need to be there for them, & thats an objective you mustn't fail, you owe them more than they owe you, theres enough failed role models out there, dont be like them, be better.

Thanks

Selfish maybe , I have 6 all up and I will be there for them till I die . We can,t predict the future or stock market but you can learn to read the signs that can help moving forward and if we focus on negatives thats what you get what about the joy having kids bring unconditional love, laughter, their first steps , first award, first love interests I would not change a thing good, bad,or the ugly because everything you encounter moulds who we become hopefully for the better .....

My approach to this was not to come out as negative, if thats how you felt then Im sorry to hear that, i was just pointing out the circumstances that we face in reality that we dwell in, so not just by perspective.

Of course people are gonna keep doing what they always do, theres no doubt about that, despite who we mould into it always helps to realise that what may have worked out for group A may not work out for group B & that can lead to dissonance about what we were all told possible.

Im glad to hear that you'll do anything for them, i commend that dearly.

Hi Realist_Sapien

A good question, 'Why bring kids into this world?'. For me, I think it may have started as a biological urge. What I mean is I never wanted to have kids and then suddenly when I hit 30, bammm, I felt driven to have at least a couple. It's like a switch flipped overnight. What began as perhaps a biological urge became one of the best decisions of my life. Btw, my daughter's 23 and my son's 20. They're amazing people, great teachers (for me) and a lot of laughs at times. I 100% agree, you don't stop raising people just because they've reached a certain age. If they need their levels of consciousness raised or their spirits raised etc, that's what you do. You remain the raiser of others for as long as you live and hopefully they continue to raise you too.

As I say to my kids, the goal is to take what is good from your parents (beliefs, practices, ideas, behaviours etc) and combine that with all the amazing natural aspects of who you are but it's important to sift out what is not so good. Then when the next generation's born, the same thing happens and so on and so on. Eventually, the goal is to have the most conscious generation that's ever existed, with nothing left to sift out. All good in theory, hey. There are still so many old systems, old practices, old beliefs, old ideas etc that are getting in the way of how the world should be. When people say this generation are super sensitive, I say 'Yay, it's about time'. I hope they can take what they so easily sense and change things. So many anxiety inducing and depressing things around today. It's not enough just to feel them, we need people to change them for the better.

We're born with all the right senses/abilities, a sense of wonder, imagination/vision, feeling, the need to question, a sense of adventure, optimism and so much more. The goal is not to have those abilities suppressed or have them conditioned out of us, the goal is to develop them and master them. They are the tools for change.

Hello, today I wanted to talk about just how tiring & detrimental it is pretending all the time, now dont get me wrong, I still do this subconsciously, but its harder to stay real to yourself while being forced to be a byproduct.

When you get to the point where you realise everybody that you know is not who they say they are while masquerading just to get ahead & cope, that's when you notice that its not that we're depressed, we just see things for what they are without any filters.

For instance everybody's got insecurities & it bugs me how we became so used to masking up our flaws that its become so normalised where you wonder why people have mental breakdown's & lose control of themselves, not because they're weirdo's, you really wanna know what's weird, tabooed transparency, we survive in a world full of lies & deception, where being honest distrupts the narrative.

I reached a conclusion where I refuse to keep giving as an empty cup to this world, even if i lose connections, not where you go & start being a jerk to everyone, because think about it.

As a species its an innate instinct for the mind to protect itself from negative reinforcement, now when it comes to being conditioned, they don't really do a good job teaching us being direct, becuase to get ahead in this world.

You gotta lie, where you realise why people find it hard to trust eachother, like avoiding detection all the time to avoid being exposed, pretending to like something you dont actually like, where eventually youre identity becomes more obscure.

And only doing yourself more harm than good, but dont worry, we still live in a very vibrant community, just go back to pretending everything's fine... yea okay.

Its very ironic how you hear people all the time saying be yourself when they dont even know how themselves, we became so docile & complacent in a society that doesnt feel right at all, what else can you possibly do you know, they got us twisted front to back.

But as soon as you thought everyone had your back & that mask of yours starts to slip & show its true colours, watch what happens... ei, watch what happens...

No matter how hard you try to fit in or impress other's, there's always that social psychological contract to uplift, you think you guys are friends just for the sake of being friends, nah nah nah, cmon now cmon, if its not authentic then its just a recipe for disaster.

Doesn't mean its our fault, its this culture thats toxic & surgarcoats alot, we got a long way to go.

Signing out.

I resonate deeply with everything you have shared.I spent years performing to societal standards that were never designed for me. The physical exhaustion of masking is profound because it constantly drains the nervous system. You are right about the taboo of transparency. We are conditioned to make others comfortable at the expense of our health. Recently, I made the choice to stop pouring from an empty cup. Dropping the mask means accepting that some connections will fade. However, it creates space to find people who value genuine depth over superficial social contracts. It is a daily practice of radical acceptance to stop pretending.
