Hello everyone…🤗🩷..

Many people on these forums, spend birthdays, Easter, Christmas, New Years Eve…and many more significantly important days in there lives feeling a lot of loneliness and sadness because they live alone, or are estranged from family members and friends…I am one of those people…..loneliness seems to overtake and overwhelm me/us on these special days, more then any other day…

If it’s your Birthday or an important day in your life you’re very welcome to share your day/s here on this thread where members of these forums can celebrate with you…we can all bring virtual food, nonalcoholic drinks, in the hope that you don’t feel so lonely….and we make your day a little special….

Beyond Blue community members are not just people, we all are a special and unique family…caring, supporting and being their for each other…

It is a really nice idea for people to have a place to come to on any kind of anniversary or special occasion where they might be alone and it would just be really nice to have company.

Hello Eagle Ray and everyone….🤗🩷…

Today is the beginning of the last year of my 60’s…..Expectations of family birthday wishes are slowly diminishing as the day begins to end….which does make today a bit more lonely then usual….

My neighbour did remember and invited me over for lunch…she made a yummy chicken tomato based pasta and a cucumber salad….I took over a box of chocolates to share, we ate more then we should have 😂😂😂….it was nice not being alone all day…my best r/l friend didn’t ring me today, she rings everyday but not today….

I haven’t had any cake yet…and a birthday isn’t a completed birthday unless a cake has been shared amongst friends….I haven’t had for a long time, a Black Forest cake so I thought I would bring one, along with the cake of your choice into this thread and enjoy some with my BB friends….

Kind thoughts everyone and a gentle hug to those who need/want one….

Thank you so much for bringing the Black Forest Cake 🍰🙏 Yum 😋 I have brought a cake I remember trying several years ago - a Pistachio and Zucchini Cake with Citrus Icing. It is quite tangy and sweet at the same time.
