    <description>&lt;P&gt;I regret not being able to contribute on the forums, so I hope this endorsement can help some people out there struggling with depression.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Search for "self compassion" and the first result should be this:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;https://self-compassion.org/&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I encourage people to have a look at the concept and read what it is about. You will see there is a tab for exercises, and I've used the self compassion journal on and off for almost 18 months, and have returned to it recently after a downturn in mood.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you struggle with depression, self esteem, schemas, loss of hope, regret, self hatred, or anger among other things, I really encourage you to have a read about this concept, and most importantly realise:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;you yourself are just as worthy of compassion and kindness as any other person.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the  recommendation and the really important reminder about self-compassion. It’s something I’m very conscious of, as I’m working through some feelings of regret.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the forum and thank you so much for contributing something so special, such a good idea!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I used to do mirror work for self compassion, you should give it a go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKApd0eb_B4 just listen to the audio while looking at yourself in a mirror and enjoy. I promise it could help with the some of the road blocks that your facing.&lt;/P&gt;
