I took advice from my friends and got a cat. She's from the rescue pond and currently hiding under the TV.first day.I am having a very hard time currently and hope little ginger will help me to survive. I want to survive.I can't wait til she comes out and gets used to my home 🙂

I love the positivity in your post!

It comes through very strongly that you have hope, and can see a future, and really strongly want to make it. I hope you and your new cat can help rescue and support each other.

It may take ginger a little time to trust you and understand that you are here to support her. You might have to be patient and give her some space and time!

Sometimes when we get to a really dark place we just need that one thing that provides meaning, gives us hope, and provides a purpose. I really hope your new cat is that new purpose for you.

Hi Beetle,

I used to have 2 ginger cats- called them ginger ninjas. They sense when something's wrong and I hope your new cat will be a great support to you like mine were to me. Animals love you unconditionally which is a bonus and really good for people with anxiety and depression.

How are things going with your cat now?
