topic Diary keeping in Staying well

Hi 16sundayz, that sounds like a really good idea. Before an appointment I try to gather everything I want to speak to my counsellor about in my head, but once I'm actually speaking to them I never quite get out everything I wanted to say. I think that having it all written down instead of relying on just having it all in my head is very useful. Thank you for the helpful tip.

Does anyone else write down thoughts and feelings and take them to their psychologist/counsellor/psychiatrist appointments? I do that with mine, he reads them and then we discuss. I find it easier to write them down than actually saying them vocally and it helps me get them out better.

I hope it helps you as much as it does me. It's not a special diary or anything just an A5 notebook.
