Hi all

What made you smile today?

Doesn't matter if it's big or small or whether it's one or a hundred things.

If you can't think of anything hopefully reading this list might make you smile.

I'll start

1. My dog. His name is Buddy and we adopted him. He likes to follow me around the house and he's great company. Whenever I let him in from outside he jumps up on me for a cuddle.

2. Cadbury Creme Eggs were on special at Coles. Yay for budgeting and yay for chocolate.

3. The quote "The human body is 90% water so we're basically cucumbers with anxiety".

1: Walking up the top of the You Yangs (smallish mountain) with my kids today

Buddy sounds like an amazing companion, and he clearly feels the same way about you (seeing as he likes to shadow your every step) 😀

And Creme eggs are the best!

Two things have especially made me smile -

1. Cooking with my teenage granddaughter on Sunday. She had her music playing & some of those were from my youth so we belted them out as we cooked.

2. Our 11 month old pup - Ted. Many times a day & in the evenings, he jumps up onto my lap for a cuddle, massage & a nap. It's like having a baby all over again 😀.

Today, when visiting my big baby and my grand babies. I realised I have broken the chain of repeated abuse by keeping my child safe away from my family and she is now is a fully functioning adult.

Hiya,

Skimming through some of the responses to random threads made me smile today.

It was nice to see people being supported here.

On that note, romantic_thi3f, I stumbled upon a response of yours to a thread (it was on grief and loss). While grief and loss itself is hardly something to smile about, I really appreciated your message. I liked how you basically said we all have to deal with it our own way. No right or wrong way indeed- I agree with you there.

This is a cool thread romantic 🙂 I have a budgie named Buddy.. That made me smile.
Also finding funny videos on youtube. movie bloopers, and theres this one with a grandma&grandpa trying to work a webcam whch is really funny.

Today my 4 yo was going through her older sister's Geography textbook. She was looking at pictures of deserts, rainforests, mountains, islands. She has decided she is going to go on adventure when she is older and has made me promise that we can go together. In preparation she has packed a backpack with the following;

the pictures she was looking at so she knows where she wants to go;

a small pair of binoculars;

her favorite toy;

another bag for food and drink.
