Hi, welcome

Good on you for having the courage to seek guidance and self reflect.

Mental Illness has a few common traits we mere humans can easily allow to continue without appropriate treatment. Some are in denial, some think it will fix itself, some are afraid of the stigma and some aren't prepared to tackle what could be lifelong medication.

But we are not super people, sometimes we need help in a physical sense we need crutches or wheelchair, mentally we need diagnosis and treatment.

I have bipolar, depression etc and prior to treatment I felt life was much more than a struggle regardless that I'm a positive motivating individual, mental illness quashes such outlook. Life post medication commencement has been a total change. I can't believe my challenges once took me down the attempted suicide path.

Its not all treatment, you should allow your mind to acknowledge the wonder of life. Some like me purchased motorcycles, rode to beaches, camping, got a dog, tapped into spirituality and found my soul mate. You can turn your thinking around to.

Please google-

Beyondblue meditation, he helped me for 25 years

Beyondblue variety and distraction

Accepting yourself - Beyond Blue Forums - 33555 https://share.google/qINKJxFB5UEokcXD3

We also have a great library just use search.

I’m at the point where my limits have been reached and about to be breached. I wake up every day wishing that I hadn’t. My past seems pointless and I have no interest in making effort towards the future. I don’t know what made things change or what I may have done but I’m worried about myself.
