So I'm new here a year ago I left my husband who physically and sexually abused me on numerous occasions, we had a child together she has Cystic Fibrosis and diabetes from it, my daughter from a previous relationship has Asperger's, I'm trying to get over the things that were done to me and my girls illnesses keep me distracted from my feelings, but lately I feel like it's all too much and the thoughts of the past keep coming back , in dreams and even situations I'm in that make me remember

Hi Manda76

Welcome and I feel your pain with illness in the family. You have huge inner strength to post and be a part of the Beyond Blue family. I can feel you are trying so hard to heal from the awful pain you have been through

Sophie_M posted helpful advice especially about our caring friends at 1800RESPECT.....1800 737 732

Can I ask if you have a doctor that you see on a regular basis? I used to have chronic anxiety/agoraphobia for a long time and see my GP every 6 weeks for a 'tune up' where my anxiety levels are concerned

my kindest thoughts to you and your daughters .There is no judgement on the forums....just the best support we can provide through our own lived experience. There are many super kind people that can be here for you!

any questions or comments are always welcome Manda76

Paul
