Hey Guest_10463,

Thank you for your post. A very warm welcome here to the Forums, too. We hope this can be a supportive and welcoming space during what sounds like a really tough time. Breakups can be incredibly challenging and leave us feeling emotionally vulnerable and overwhelmed.

You mention that you felt your mental health was getting the better of you. That is a powerful reflection, and shows a lot of insight. When that “stuck” feeling is here, it can feel difficult to know what to do next. Is there anyone you’re seeing to help you out at the moment, such as a GP or psychologist? When our mental health feels like it’s getting the best of us, it can be a good time to seek some extra support. If you’re not quite sure where to start, you're always welcome to reach out to the Beyond Blue Support Service for a chat, if you like (on 1300 22 4636 anytime, or via webchat: https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support)

How have you been over the weekend? Have there been times when things felt a little less heavy for you, even for a little bit? Feel free to drop back into this thread at any time. We’re here to support you 24/7.

Take care 💙

Kind regards
