Dear Steve~

I'd like to welcome you here to the Forum, a good place to come.

Frankly I doubt anyone on this forum could answer you question. None of us is a doctor or qualified to give any opinion regarding treatment or medication.

I do have two suggestions, the first is to talk to you doctor and seek thier views about your reaction, also their plan for the administration of this treatment, the can only relate their own expereices.

The second is to do a search here using the spyglass above for "ECT" (no quote marks) and browse though some of the replies. There are a lot. One one should bear in mind firstly that everyone is different and many react in dissimilar ways to the same thing and secondly those who have been unhappy with the treatment are more likely to post here, those that are happy may write less often, consequently you may not get a true view of matters.

Sorry I can't give you a direct answer

Croix
