Hi.

I wanted to reply to your post to make sure it does not slip through the cracks. Sorry to read about what happened and it is a positive that you seem to have been able to accept that. This does not mean necessarily mean all the hurt is gone.

i can only speak from a perspective of depression and ...

1 the thoughts (or negative thoughts in my case,) can be all consuming which makes it difficult to think of the positive things in out lives. At the same time it can be an opportunity to the find yourself and perhaps do some activities you always wanted to do.

2. don't the power of having some support from family and friends. Talking with others who are supportive towards you situation and feelings can be helpful if not healing.

Break ups hurt, I had all these beautiful and happy feelings and memories with my ex. I felt so hurt last week when we broke up, but I can move on now, look onto better things, and just miss him right now until the hurt fades. Has anyone else gone through a painful break up? How did you cope?

Flip the script mate....don't look at it as love lost.

It wasn't meant to be, it's a life lesson and look to the future....and that's making memories with your new partner.

They're out there. They may be currently in an unhappy relationship, they may be single, they may be in the same position...

When time is right...your pathes will cross. And those pathes can only cross if your out moving forward.
