I just want happiness again.

For the past year or so I can not remember feeling happy or finding any joy in anything. I can not remember what I used to find enjoyable and all I want is to be alone. when talking to people I don't take in what they say and just want to be alone.

I am scared that I will never feel happiness again and will live my life feeling numb and distant from people, including my wife and daughter

I just want happiness again.

This website has some excellent resources that you could explore, to try to understand your current position and how to help yourself or get help from others.

Have you tried discussing the way you feel with your wife?

Do you have a general practitioner (GP)? If you feel able to, you may find that your GP can assist - by listening and suggesting strategies, but also by providing assistance and referral if necessary.

Sometimes life gets us mixed up and confused, sad and lost - but you have reached out for help and that is a wonderful first step 🙂
